Reading Is Fun Week, Salute to Moms 35+ Week, Travel and Tourism Week, more

The week of May 8th to May 14th, 2011 features celebrations for Reading Is Fun Week, Salute to Moms 35+ Week, National Travel and Tourism Week, National Nursing Home Week, National Women's Health Week, Food Allergy Awareness Week, and National Hospital Week.

Reading Is Fun Week is a great opportunity to share your love of reading with your children.

If you, like me, became a Mom after age thirty-five, you deserve to be pampered during Salute to Moms 35+ Week.

National Travel and Tourism Week encourages travel within the United States. The "week" actually runs from May 7th to May 15th, to include two weekends.

The theme of the 2011 National Nursing Home Week, sponsored by the American Health Care Association, is "Fulfilling the Promise."

Women are encouraged to make their own health a top priority during National Women's Health Week. The theme for 2011 is "It's Your Time."

During Food Allergy Awareness Week you are encouraged to "Be a FAAN Hero." FAAN is the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network.

This is National Hospital Week. Of course we're grateful hospitals are available, but let's try to avoid needing their services.
