Play Your Ukulele Day, Sibling Appreciation Day, Worthy Wage Day, more

May 2nd, 2011 is National Play Your Ukulele Day, Sibling Appreciation Day, Worthy Wage Day, and Melanoma Monday.

Today is National Play Your Ukulele Day. Do you play?

Do you have brothers and/or sisters? If so, give them a call, take them out for ice cream, let them borrow your favorite sweater, something. Celebrate Sibling Appreciation Day!

Worthy Wage Day is meant to bring attention to the importance of early childhood education and the need for fair wages for teachers in such programs.

Melanoma Monday is meant to raise awareness of melanoma, a form of skin cancer, and encourage early treatment.
