National Nurses Week and World Cocktail Week

The week of May 6th to May 12th features celebrations for National Nurses Week and World Cocktail Week.

National Nurses Week runs from National Nurses Day to the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. This year's theme is "Nurses Trusted to Care."

World Cocktail Week is celebrated this year from May 6th to May 13th, "to promote better understanding and appreciation of the art of the cocktail and its history, and responsible drinking." I'll have an Amaretto Sour, please!
