Cellophane Tape Day, Old-Time Player Piano Day, Don't Fry Day, more

May 27th, 2011 is Cellophane Tape Day, Old-Time Player Piano Day, National Grape Popsicle Day, Don't Fry Day, Heat Safety Awareness Day, and Sun Screen Day. Today used to be National Wig Out Day as well.

Why should duct tape get all the attention? Tape together a gift, a collage, or a hem with good old cellophane tape today, in honor of Cellophane Tape Day.

Many readers of The Holiday Whiz are too young to remember player pianos, which used paper music rolls to tell the piano which notes to play. They're the mp3 players of 100 years ago! Enjoy this video in honor of Old-Time Player Piano Day:

Don't bother with lipstick today, ladies. Just grab a grape popsicle and rock that purple smile! May 27th is National Grape Popsicle Day.
