Full Flower Moon tonight, May 17th, 2011

May's full moon is known as the Full Flower Moon because, obviously, flowers are all around us this month.

May's full moon is also sometimes called the Full Corn Planting Moon or the Milk Moon.

May's full moon for 2011 occurs tonight. Grab your kids and your telescope, then head outside. Imagine - man actually landed on the moon and planted an American flag.
