St. Patrick's Day, Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, more

March 17th, 2011, is  St. Patrick's Day, Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, Companies That Care Day, Submarine Day, and the Fast of Esther.

You'd have to be colorblind to the color green not to notice that today is St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick used a shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to pagans. Eat or drink something green, if you please.

Every year on the third Thursday in March, Camp Fire USA asks us to honor Absolutely Incredible Kid Day. I've got one of those kids!

Attention employers - it's Companies That Care Day. Show appreciation for your employees and your community.

Today is the Fast of Esther, a Jewish holiday, although not one of the four public fasts ordained by the Prophets.
