National "She's Funny That Way" Day, Terri's Day, more

March 31st, 2011, is National "She's Funny That Way" Day, Terri's Day, Take Your Parents to the Playground Day, Bunsen Burner Day, and National Clams on the Half Shell Day.

In honor of National "She's Funny That Way" Day, either do something eccentric or enjoy some female comedians - comediennes - on YouTube. I'd recommend Paula Poundstone for a start.

Terri's Day honors the memory of Terri Schaivo, whose life and death inspired a national debate about the nature of life and the medical dilemmas that arise when patients cannot speak for themselves.

Take Your Parents to the Playground Day means just what you think it means. Make your child's day! Have you hugged your inner child lately?

Your inner child surely remembers the old days in science class, fiddling with the Bunsen Burner when the teacher wasn't looking. Well, today is Bunsen Burner Day!

If you're in the mood for some seafood with a touch of elegance, celebrate National Clams on the Half Shell Day.
