April's full moon is known as the Full Pink Moon because of the wild ground phlox that adds pink to the landscape in the spring.

April's full moon is also sometimes called the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon, or Full Fish Moon.

April's full moon for 2011 occurs tonight, April 17th. Take time tonight to step outside, look up, and admire its splendor.
