Information Overload Awareness Day, Get Smart about Credit Day, more

October 20th, 2011, is Information Overload Awareness Day, Get Smart about Credit Day, International Credit Union Day, World Statistics Day, Air Traffic Control Day, Get to Know Your Customers Day, World Osteoporosis Day, Birth of the Bab, Kenyatta Day, Revolution Day (Guatemala), and National Brandied Fruit Day.

The third Thursday of October is Get Smart about Credit Day. Most of us could use a refresher course at the very least.

The theme of International Credit Union Day 2011 is "Credit Unions Build a Better World," meant to highlight the economic and social contributions of credit unions.

2010 marked the first observance of World Statistics Day, sponsored by the United Nations to "recognize the importance of statistics in shaping our societies."
