Cranky Co-Workers Day, Beer Day, Potato Day, more

October 27, 2011, is Cranky Co-Workers Day, Independence Day (Turkmenistan), American Beer Day, and National Potato Day.

Today we celebrate Cranky Co-Workers Day. If you can't pinpoint the cranky co-worker in your office, maybe it's you! Uh oh.

Turkmenistan observes Independence Day today, followed by a similar holiday tomorrow, October 28th.

Cheers - time to celebrate American Beer Day. If you don't drink, I'm sure root beer qualifies.

Today is National Potato Day. Believe it or not, potatoes are yummy when prepared many ways, beyond the ubiquitous french fries!
