Video Games Day, Milk Chocolate with Almonds Day, more

July 8th, 2012, is Video Games Day, SCUD Day, Be a Kid Again Day, and National Milk Chocolate with Almonds Day.

Attention, gamers - today is Video Games Day. Now you have a legit excuse to play all day and all night.

SCUD Day (Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama) might be my favorite offbeat holiday. I love the name; I embrace the sentiment. We could all use a little more laughter and a little less confrontation.

July 8th is Be a Kid Again Day. What does that mean to you? Blowing bubbles? Laughing until milk squirts out of your nose? Coloring outside the lines? Just do it!

July 8th is National Milk Chocolate with Almonds Day. My daughter wants me to erase the "with almonds" part, but I don't create the holidays. I just report them to you, loyal readers.
