Mosquito Day, Gorgeous Grandma Day, Hot Dog Day, more

July 23rd, 2012, is National Mosquito Day, Hot Enough for Ya Day, Gorgeous Grandma Day, Egypt Revolution Day, National Hot Dog Day, and National Vanilla Ice Cream Day.

On National Mosquito Day, be nice to the little insects that love to bite us. Yeah, right.

Hot enough for ya? We hear that too much in the Northern Hemisphere this time of year. Anyway, for what it's worth, have a great Hot Enough for Ya Day.

Gorgeous Grandma Day is meant to remind everyone that beauty has nothing to do with age. You go, Grandma!

On Egypt Revolution Day, Egyptians remember their 1952 revolution against the British.

Please pass the mustard and the relish - today is National Hot Dog Day.

National Vanilla Ice Cream Day is the latest in a long string of ice cream-related celebrations. Maybe it's just a ploy to distract people from asking, "Hot enough for ya?" all the time.
