Forget Me Not Day, McHappy Day, USMC Day, more

November 10th, 2011, is Forget Me Not Day, Area Code Day, Sesame Street Day, McHappy Day, USMC Day, World Science Day for Peace and Development, Uprising in the Villa de Los Santos, Martinmas Eve, and National Vanilla Cupcake Day.

Forget Me Not Day is a time to reconnect with someone special. Make the day extra special with a bouquet of forget-me-nots.

Sesame Street Day celebrates the anniversary of the famous show's debut on November 10th, 1969.

McHappy Day is an annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

USMC Day commemorates the founding of the United States Marine Corps in 1775, then known as the Continental Marines. Semper Fidelis!

The United Nations promotes World Science Day for Peace and Development on November 10th, as part of the International Week of Science and Peace.

Panama observes Uprising in the Villa de Los Santos, celebrating independence from Spain. Panama is the subject of a famous palindrome: A MAN, A PLAN, A CANAL - PANAMA.

November 10th is Martinmas Eve, leading up to the Feast of Saint Martin of Tours on November 11th.
