Chicken Soup for the Soul Day, Gaming Day, more

November 12th, 2011, is Chicken Soup for the Soul Day, National Gaming Day, Elizabeth Cady Stanton Day, National Donor Sabbath, Birth of Bahu'u'llah, and National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day.

Chicken Soup for the Soul Day celebrates the mega-successful Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, but feel free to indulge in a soul-satisfying bowl of actual chicken soup.

National Gaming Day will celebrate its global reach next year, becoming International Gaming Day. The event, always the second Saturday in November, is hosted by participating libraries.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton Day commemorates the birth date of a pioneer in women's rights. Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony founded the National Woman Suffrage Association.

National Donor Sabbath, always held two weekends before Thanksgiving in the United States, encourages faith groups to embrace organ donation.

Members of the Baha'i faith celebrate the Birth of Bahu'u'llah today. Bahu'u'llah is the founder of the Baha'i faith.

Here's a fun holiday - National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day. The anchovies will live to see another day! Meanwhile, your pizza could include pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, pickles, herring, chocolate chips, whatever. Enjoy!
