Particularly Preposterous Packaging Day is our opportunity to celebrate.... no, wait. It's an opportunity to complain about packaging that requires special equipment or a locksmith to open. Maybe we should pass a law.

In 1789 the U.S. Congress passed an Act in support of lighthouses, beacons, buoys, and public piers. 200 years later, in 1989, Congress declared August 7th as National Lighthouse Day.
