In a moment of desperation, boredom, or delirium they created a mythical pig with seventeen toes, seventeen teeth, seventeen.... um..... you get the idea. Time to serve the Yellow Pig Cake!
Wrong Way Corrigan Day pays tribute to a man who was either a terrible pilot or a stubborn adventurer. In the 1930s Douglas Corrigan twice requested permission to fly from New York to Dublin, but twice his request was denied. He then applied to fly from New York to California instead, received permission, but somehow his flight from New York ended in Dublin. Amazing coincidence, eh?
