Do a Grouch a Favor Day, Almond Day, more

February 16th, 2014, is Do a Grouch a Favor Day, Kyoto Protocol Day, and Almond Day.

Today is Do a Grouch a Favor Day. If everyone does a favor for just one grouch, maybe grouches will become an endangered species. If that doesn't work, ask your favorite grouch to search Google for "do a barrel roll." Freaky! Should make any grouch smile just a little.

Kyoto Protocol Day commemorates ratification of the Kyoto Protocol, an agreement between nations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Almond Day celebrates a delicious nut, enjoyable straight or in desserts or candy. If you ever get the chance, try cocoa roasted almonds - nothing better!
