Whisper "I Love You" Day, Religion Day, more

January 19th, 2014, is Whisper "I Love You" Day, Brew a Potion Day, Tin Can Day, World Religion Day, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, and National Popcorn Day.

Believe it or not, today is Whisper "I Love You" Day. Your call, whether or not you whisper loud enough for that special person to hear.

On Brew a Potion Day, what sort of potion would you like to brew? Does it involve the person to whom you just whispered, "I love you?" Promise, I won't tell.

Tin Can Day celebrates a ubiquitous item that revolutionized food preservation. These days canned food makes us think of bland, oversalted, low-brow food, but some canned foods are actually pretty okay.

World Religion Day, a non-denominational event observed on the third Sunday in January, promotes the notion that "So powerful is the light of unity, that it can illuminate the whole Earth."

Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This event is observed on the Sunday closest to January 22nd, when the Roe v. Wade decision was announced in 1973 by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Celebrate National Popcorn Day on January 19th or on Super Bowl Sunday. Better yet, why not both?
