Night of the Balloons, Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day, more

January 12th, 2014, is Night of the Balloons, Plough Sunday, Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day, National Pharmacist Day, Curried Chicken Day, and National Marzipan Day.

Filzmoos, Austria, hosts Night of the Balloons. Somehow the hot air balloons glow in time to music. This might be a bucket-list-worthy event!

Plough Sunday, traditionally the Sunday after Epiphany, is a celebration of farming and harvest.

Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day - a truly inspired name for a holiday nobody understands. The bloggers and the calendar-keepers are unanimously baffled about this holiday and its origins, but who cares? Just find some fabulous wild men and feast with them, okay?
