Organize Your Home Office Day, Worship of Tools Day, more

March 11th, 2014, is Organize Your Home Office Day, Johnny Appleseed Day, Worship of Tools Day, and Oatmeal Nut Waffle Day.

Organize Your Home Office Day takes place on the second Tuesday in March. Set up a convenient filing system and throw away some stuff you no longer need. Check out my system for managing quarterly receipts.

Johnny Appleseed Day is observed on March 11th and September 26th, the dates of his death and his birth, respectively. Plant a tree or at least eat an apple in his honor.

Today may be Tuesday, but there's a form of organized worship going on - March 11th is Worship of Tools Day. If some of you would like to worship your tools by making repairs at my house, please let me know.

Oatmeal Nut Waffle Day narrows your breakfast options. Feel free to go crazy with the nuts, though - pecan, walnut, almond, pistachio - the holiday doesn't discriminate.
