Running Day, Gingerbread Day, more

June 5th, 2013, is National Running Day, National Tailor's Day, Clean Air Day, World Environment Day, Constitution Day and Father's Day (Denmark), and National Gingerbread Day.

National Running Day is celebrated on the first Wednesday in June. Remember to take breaks from running, to stay hydrated and to enjoy today's other holidays.

National Tailor's Day Day is also observed on the first Wednesday in June. If your pants and sleeves are the proper length, thank a tailor!

Clean Air Day is observed on Wednesday of Environment Week.

The theme of World Environment Day 2013 is, "Think. Eat. Save."

Constitution Day and Father's Day are both celebrated today in Denmark. Their constitution took effect in 1849.

Gingerbread puts me in the mood for Christmas, but for some reason June 5th is National Gingerbread Day. Ho ho ho - merry Gingerbread Day!
