Donut Day, Chocolate Ice Cream Day, more

June 7th, 2013, is National Donut Day, Boone Day, and National Chocolate Ice Cream Day.

Visit your local Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts today for a free donut, or check to see if your favorite bakery is celebrating National Donut Day. This sweet holiday is celebrated on the first Friday in June, originally as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.

Boone Day is celebrated in Kentucky each year on this date, as the anniversary of Daniel Boone's first sighting of present-day Kentucky, USA.

Does anyone need advice about how to celebrate National Chocolate Ice Cream Day? Just grab a scoop and get to it! Have a donut a la mode!
