May 1st, 2012, is Half-O-Ween, May Day, Hawaiian Lei Day, Keep Kids Alive! Drive 25 Day, Mother Goose Day, Silver Star Day, Loyalty Day, Worthy Wage Day, Law Day, International Labour Day, World Asthma Day, Beltane, Samhain, and National Chocolate Parfait Day.

Half-O-Ween is a day to celebrate with costumes and half-jack-o'-lanterns, halfway between this year's Halloween and last year's.The popular 'tween show, iCarly, celebrates Half-O-Ween in style this year.

Is your Maypole ready? Today is May Day.

Since 1928, Hawaiians have worn leis on May 1st, saying, "May Day is Lei Day." Happy Hawaiian Lei Day.

The fifth annual Keep Kids Alive! Drive 25 Day is a plea to all drivers to slow down on residential streets.
