Teach Your Children to Save Day, Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day, more

April 24th, 2012, is Teach Your Children to Save Day, World Meningitis Day, and National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day.

There's no better hedge against bad luck or a tough economy than having a nest egg. Teach Your Children to Save Day is the perfect time to explain that to your kids. Lead them by example!

World Meningitis Day is meant to heighten awareness of "the silent killer," a deadly disease that often strikes children and teens.

The recipe varies around the world, but everybody loves pigs-in-a-blanket. Have some today, in honor of National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day.
