POW/MIA Recognition Day and Rum Punch Day

September 20th, 2013, is National POW/MIA Recognition Day and National Rum Punch Day.

The third Friday in September is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. Remember those who gave their lives, one way or another, for the sake of our freedom. If you know someone who has a family member designated as a POW or MIA, do something special for them on this day.

National Rum Punch Day should have been observed yesterday, along with International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Arrrr! Oh well. Maybe I'll have just a little rum punch....
