Be Late for Something Day, Cheese Pizza Day, more

September 5th, 2013, is Be Late for Something Day, Teachers' Day (India), and National Cheese Pizza Day.

Today is Be Late for Something Day. Don't risk being fired or getting into any other trouble, just for the sake of someone's crazy idea for a holiday! Maybe you could be late to bed tonight, or late to wash the dishes.

India celebrates Teachers' Day on September 5th, the birth date of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a well-known educator and philosopher.

What's your favorite combination of pizza toppings? At the moment I'm partial to a Mediterranean assemblage of feta, chicken and spinach, but classic pepperoni is yummy too. But the heart of virtually all pizza is a simple sauce and cheese topping. Enjoy your favorite today in honor of National Cheese Pizza Day.
