Duran Duran Appreciation Day, Lazy Day, more

August 10th, 2013, is Duran Duran Appreciation Day, National Spoil Your Dog Day, Lazy Day, and National S'mores Day.

If you're a fan of 80s music, or if you enjoy Duran Duran's more recent work, turn up the volume for Duran Duran Appreciation Day.

Today is National Spoil Your Dog Day. How should you celebrate? T-bone steak and a new fire hydrant, if money is no object. An extra dog treat or hot dog, at least. Most importantly, your dog wants your time and you.

How will you celebrate Lazy Day? If you're so busy you've forgotten how to laze, get some inspiration from my new favorite singer, Bruno Mars:

Even if you're not a former Girl Scout or Boy Scout, you've probably heard of s'mores. What a taste of childhood! Gather your graham crackers, your chocolate, and your marshmallows for National S'mores Day!
