June 1st, 2012, is National Donut Day, Say Something Nice Day, Flip a Coin Day, Dare Day, Pen Pal Day, International Children's Day, Stand for Children Day, Heimlich Maneuver Day, Madaraka Day, and National Hazelnut Cake Day.

Visit your local Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts today for a free donut, or check to see if your favorite bakery is celebrating National Donut Day. This sweet holiday is celebrated on the first Friday in June.
