Kraken Day, World Egg Day, more

October 11th, 2013, is Kraken Day, "You Go, Girl" Day, Saptami, It's My Party Day, Coming Out Day, Macedonian National Uprising Day, General Pulaski Memorial Day, World Egg Day, and National Sausage Pizza Day.

Kraken Day is part of the annual Cephalopod Days celebration. Enjoy the images below, in tribute:

Today is Saptami, a part of Bengal's Durga Puja.

October 11th is always It's My Party Day. If you need a reason, feel free to embrace any holiday on today's list. How about a pizza party? You could serve sausage pizza for National Sausage Pizza Day, pepperoni cut to resemble kraken for Kraken Day, and eggplant pizza with ajvar for Macedonian National Uprising Day. Have fun!
