Ditch New Year's Resolutions Day, Cable Car Day, more

January 17th, 2012, is Ditch New Year's Resolutions Day, Cable Car Day, Kid Inventors Day, Ben Franklin Day, Customer Service Day, and National Hot Buttered Rum Day.

Two-and-a-half weeks into the new year, it's time to evaluate the status of your new year's resolutions. If your evaluation is less than positive, consider participating in Ditch New Year's Resolutions Day. I won't tell anybody.

Celebrate a fun retro mode of transportation on Cable Car Day. Cruise the hills of San Francisco, for real or in your mind!

Kid Inventors Day is a day to celebrate and encourage the creativity of kids. The kids of today will be the world-changers of tomorrow!
