Take time on National Agriculture Day to consider and appreciate the hardworking farmers, packagers, and suppliers who make possible the array of foods we enjoy.
Buddhists observe Tara Puja, honoring Bodhisattva Goddess Tara.
St. Joseph's Day is a time to wear red, orange, or purple. The traditional feast includes meatless traditional Italian dishes.
Swallows Return to San Juan Capistrano Day is observed on St. Joseph's Day, but this year's parade will take place on March 23rd.
To celebrate National Poultry Day, cook up your favorite bird! The most decadent poultry dish I've ever had is turducken, which is a boneless chicken wrapped in a boneless duck, then wrapped in a turkey which is boneless except for the wings and drumsticks. There's stuffing between each layer, as well. Turducken is a Cajun delight!
Good news to you lovers of sweets - today is National Chocolate Caramel Day. This flavor combination is all but irresistible!
