Brew a Potion Day, Tin Can Day, Popcorn Day, more

January 19th, 2012, is Whisper "I Love You" Day, Brew a Potion Day, Tin Can Day, Get to Know Your Customers Day, and National Popcorn Day.

Believe it or not, today is Whisper "I Love You" Day. Your call, whether or not you whisper loud enough for that special person to hear.

On Brew a Potion Day, what sort of potion would you like to brew? Does it involve the person to whom you just whispered, "I love you?" Promise, I won't tell.

Tin Can Day celebrates a ubiquitous item that revolutionized food preservation. These days canned food makes us think of bland, oversalted, low-brow food, but some canned foods are actually pretty okay.

Get to Know Your Customers Day occurs on the third Thursday of each business quarter. Take this holiday to heart if you're in business. People notice and remember great service, especially in a tough economy.

Celebrate National Popcorn Day on January 19th or on Super Bowl Sunday. Or, better yet, why not both?
